The Queen Studio was clean and cozy with fine views. The bathroom needed updating, particularly the shower experience.

Spotless and fine room with the best bathroom. Great location of the hotel with free parking. Walking distance to convenience stores and a grocery shop across the street.

Had a such wonderful stay on our 10 day road trip, glad I've chosen it. The staff has always been accommodating and amiable, and the facilities were clean. The location was handy and perfect - 200 metres away from Haast Heli.

Lack of air conditioning or fans. Limited and inconsistent wifi connectivity is a major drawback for those needing to work remotely!!! Bathroom could use an update and decor feels dated!!!

the nearby Fantail Falls are just a short 3 km trip away, making it easy to enjoy the natural beauty of the area, while a walk to the Haast River Safari site lets you explore the fine landscapes of the region effortlessly.

The friendly owners gave a warm welcome and offered great local tips for nearby trails and dining. The room, specifically the Queen Studio, was impeccably clean and cozy. I enjoyed the fine views from the room. Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning. The shower in the bathroom needed some upgrades. The experience wasn't quite what I expected. Fixing those little things would really enhance the stay. Despite that, the lush garden around the lodge added charm and made mornings pleasant. I'd definitely consider coming back for another visit.

This place is great, and has free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and non-smoking rooms. The staff once helped me find my lost bracelet, which I appreciated. I recommend checking the laundry facilities. I'm coming back for a romantic escape.

The host was friendly and gave us helpful recommendations for dining, especially the pub next door with a lovely atmosphere. The suite was comfortable, decorated with care, and offered a lovely garden view where you could relax in the sun.

The parking was on-site. the room was neat. - the hotel was just next door to a bar/restaurant, convenience store, and restaurant. - It was 5 minutes drive from Oxidation Pond. - I enjoyed staying here.
